Bingchacha Into-Tibet Self-Driving (Nujiang-Chayu) Guide
Bingchacha (Bingzhongluo—Chawalong—Chayu) is widely regarded as the most thrilling and beautiful into-Tibet route, crossing the Nujiang Grand Canyon and Hengduan Mountains with extreme scenery but harsh roads — called the "devil's road into Tibet."

⚠️ Route Characteristics
- Harsh roads: cliff-side narrow roads, gravel, winding dirt — demands high driving skill

- Few supplies: sparse towns; stock fuel, water, food
- Weak signal: no signal on some sections; offline maps essential
- Very seasonal: May–October feasible; winter snow closes

- Vehicle: 4WD off-road, high clearance, strong engine; spare tire, tow rope, shovel, snow chains
- Documents: border permit (into Tibet and border areas), ID, etc.
