How to Get to Motuo? (After the Bomi-Motuo Road Opened)
Motuo, whose Tibetan name means "hidden lotus," was the last county in Tibet to get a road, and is the lowest-altitude, most humid "Jiangnan of Tibet." High mountains, rainforest, waterfalls, and Monba/Lhoba culture converge here — a place full of secret-realm charm.
