[~280km, 6hrs] Speedboat into Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon (world's longest and deepest). Arrive at Yusong Island — best viewpoint for Namcha Barwa, with specialty tea and snacks. Afternoon: check into Suosong Village scenic-view room — Namcha Barwa right outside your window.

[~520km, 7hrs] Visit 5A Basum Tso — Nyingma sect sacred lake, crescent-shaped with crystal-clear water, surrounded by snow mountains and forests. Tang Dynasty Tashi Island temple. Return to Lhasa via Linla Highway.

Cross Nagela Pass (5190m) to Namtso (4718m) — world's highest large saltwater lake, Tibet's foremost sacred lake. Nyenchen Tanglha snow mountains reflect in the water. Lakeside trail for multiple perspectives. Return to Lhasa.
