Itinerary

Arrive in Lijiang with 24-hour free airport pickup. In the afternoon, visit Black Dragon Pool Park to see the snow mountain reflection and the Deyue Tower. In the evening, enjoy an optional Naxi ancient music performance.

Drive north on National Road 214. First witness the roaring waters of Tiger Leaping Gorge, then cross the 4,292m Baima Snow Mountain pass where prayer flags flutter. Check in at Feilai Temple in the evening, preparing for tomorrow's golden sunrise.

Wait at the Feilai Temple viewpoint at dawn for the golden sunrise over Meili's thirteen peaks. Then continue to Shangri-La to visit Songzanlin Monastery, and stroll Dukezong Old Town in the evening, turning the world's largest prayer wheel.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport or station according to your schedule. If time allows, visit Pudacuo National Park or Napahai Lake on your own. End of the 4-day snow mountain pilgrimage.
